Just spotted a sublineage of BA.5.2.6 circulating in Japan that appears to be quite competitive versus S:460K carrying lineages, vs S:346T carrying lineages , vs BF.5 lineages and not far from S:F486P lineages

Defining mutations:

@InfrPopGen could you take a look at this one please? it was closed for a while but it keeps on circulating in Japan, as other BA.5s highlighted by Cornelius in his report (here)
