Can we use file id in tl_style rather then a path for image fields. Something like {{file::12}}. That will decrease readability so perhaps show the correct path and replace that onload/onsave (change into id if path exists, otherwise keep the path as entered)

Yes. So that when I move a file the reference is also updated in the stylesheets.
