Looks like linux aarch64 and ppc64le are new in this PR if I'm reading the previous CI runs correctly. Were these expected to complete in a reasonable time? Can they be re-disabled to get this Python 3.12 support available?

The issue is the bot added cross-compilation, which is not supported. This had native compilation before, which we will need to switch back to
