This example is very helpful if the spec stays as it is. But I think it would be better to change the spec to allow the <pre> block in the example to be recognized as such (see the discussion linked above).

For now I'll merge this helpful improvement. Maybe we could consider changing the spec, but it would involve extra complexity.
