Where is the guidance for using UNIX? I'm also using "Unix".

Search the user guide. We use "UNIX timestamp" in other places. There is only one "Unix timestamp".

Maybe "Unix" is appropriate.

Unix (/ˈjuːnɪks/, YOO-niks; trademarked as UNIX)
