How to configure SSO in Operator

Objective:

To document a practical example on how to configure SSO in MinIO Operator

Pre-steps:

  • You must have Auth0 configured for Operator access.

Steps:

  1. Create a cluster
createcluster
  1. Install Operator:
installoperator
  1. Set env vars:
kubectl -n minio-operator set env deployment/console CONSOLE_IDP_URL=https://dev-xqm5ioqlmy7qyjvl.us.auth0.com/.well-known/openid-configuration
kubectl -n minio-operator set env deployment/console CONSOLE_IDP_CLIENT_ID=rMVc40T7fwgbEez1svp8wmjBtSaoKIOJ
kubectl -n minio-operator set env deployment/console CONSOLE_IDP_SECRET=SlQcQAUdUjW8ZPbp5qdbQYM5P7Pkp4GtGeXKky_dThl8Uk2NWdGu13dO9ftN0umH
kubectl -n minio-operator set env deployment/console CONSOLE_IDP_CALLBACK=http://localhost:30080/oauth_callback

  • Tested in Operator Version 5.0.15
