Overview

Create two screen variations of the final step of the tag generator to compare effectiveness of UI elements.

Action Items

  • Screen A - Create screen where tags generated have a copy to clipboard icon (see screenshot).
  • Screen B - Create screen where instructions are changed to tell users to click to copy tags (see Material UI example). Possibly create another screen to show when the tags are clicked and copied.
  • Compare both versions in app.usabilityhub.com to determine which screens to finalize based on user preference.
  • Finalize UI elements for mobile and tablet view for consistency.

Resources/Instructions

Screen A - Good user accessibility usually has an icon and text label for the action.

Screen B - See how when the chip is selected, it has a different state applied to show that it has been selected and copied.

A/B Test has been created. View Current Test

The current test has received 27 responses. I hope that maybe we can continue to recruit a few more responses to come to a solid conclusion. Can we aim to get 30 responses?

  • Survey has been posted in some of the Slack channel and recirculated through social media.

  • Based on gathered data and additional research, this is my proposed solution addressing user preference and good UX usability:
