It even has a silent uninstall string on it. |

What You Are Seeing?
Working on a new package that is comprised of a piece of software that is a Squirrel installer distributed with in a
.zip
file. Upon installation, Programs and Features is populated with the software name, a key is added inHKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
but no.registry
file is written to the chocolatey package's "tracking" directory (C:\ProgramData\chocolatey\.chocolatey\<pkg name>
). This makes uninstall problematic for this particular pkgWhat is Expected?
It's expected that a
.registry
file be written which contains the changes to the registry so thatUninstall-ChocolateyPackage

The installer for this choco package in my repo reproduces this on choco v0.9.10-beta-20160422
