The default IDE is Android Studio (or IntelliJ IDEA).

It is also possible to use both Eclipse and Android Studio. Then use eclipse for writing code/testing and Android Studio for building.
The former default IDE for c:geo was Eclipse. It is no longer used and supported in the c:geo development. Maybe it is possible to use Eclipse for writing code/testing.
