Goodwill Resource Website


Overview

Welcome to the Goodwill Resource Website project! This open-source initiative aims to assist the Goodwill organization in addressing several key challenges they face. Our application is designed to enhance communication between Goodwill employees and the company, raise awareness and engagement within communities regarding the free resources offered by Goodwill, and create a user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing experience for people of all age groups.

Problem Statement

Goodwill, a non-profit organization committed to serving individuals from diverse backgrounds, encounters various issues, including:

  • Improving Communication: Enhancing the lines of communication between employees and the organization.

  • Community Engagement: Increasing community awareness and participation in the wide array of free resources provided by Goodwill.

  • Multi-Generational Engagement: Engaging individuals across all age groups effectively.

What is it?

Our application is our take on a way to solve all of the problems mentioned above. We're trying to match the theme of Goodwill's current theme while adding some features that make easy to use while being estheitcally pleasing

Our application offers a range of features designed to address these challenges and provide a seamless experience:

  • Live Chat: Facilitate real-time communication between employees and the company.

  • Employee-Centric Functionality: Implement hidden features tailored for employees.

  • Drawer Side-Window: Improve navigation with an intuitive side-window feature.

  • Salary Statistics: Display statistics related to potential salaries individuals can achieve by pursuing Goodwill courses.

  • Modern Navigation: Provide user-friendly and contemporary navigation tools.

  • Email Contact System: Enable easy communication for all users to send messages to GoodWill Employees.
