- Good contents.
- V. useful introduction to GAP. Good lecturing style.
- Notes really well-organised.
- Generally very clear with good example to follow along with.
- Interesting exercises.
- Very good mix between practical and theory.
- Good overview of using functions, test files, etc. Nice glimpse of the potential GAP has.
- The emphasis on writing good and readable code was good motivation for the 2nd half of the lecture.
- A bit too fast. Couldn't follow when encounter difficulties
- A bit too fast sometimes. Very group centric (although I realise it is a big selling point of GAP)
- Some homework exercises!
- The green note doesn't exist :D
- Give more detailed specification about the problem we're currently solving
- Haven't studied group theory for a long time!
- At some points the presentation moved quite fast and it was had to keep up with updating the files on our own machines
- First half was too easy for experienced Gap users. Could the class split to accommodate both beginners and non-beginners?
- From the part about testing onwards, the content was a bit intense which made it hard to follow quickly. Perhaps more time to explain each example could help.
