I need to make a pull request to update the protected recaptcha-copy branch. I cannot rebase main into it. And I wanted to fix this pre-commit hook linting change. So here's the PR.

@thekaveman @angela-tran Could I get a quick review on this? I want to get the recaptcha-copy branch in a good place, and I don't want all the subsequent PRs going into this to have to have the autofix commit in it. And I cannot rebase from main.
