Analysis of MEG localizer data (Zilber et al NIMG 2014)
Task: passive MEG localizer was used to localize hMT+ (human motion coherence). Stimuli: red cloud of visual dots 120 trials of one red cloud of visual dots start with incoherent for 0.500 s and followed by 1 s of coherent motion (95% of coherence, 60 trials) or incoherent (0% of coherence, 60 trials).
In the paper, the evoked response fields (ERFs) elicited by the transition to fully coherent (i.e. going from 0% to 95% coherence) were contrasted with the ERFs elicited at the same latency but in the absence of transition (i.e. 0% of coherence).
trigger 33 = 0% coherence down; trigger 35 = 0% coherence up trigger 37 = 95% coherence down; trigger 39 = 95% coherence up
