This release pulls in the the necessary changes from upstream to activate Optimism's Ecotone upgrade on Blast Mainnet, allowing Blast users to benefit from the L1 data availability cost savings that stem from EIP-4844.
Parameters
The Ecotone upgrade is set to go live on Blast Mainnet on Mon May 27 2024 13:59:59 GMT-0700 (Pacific Daylight Time). If you already have a node running, then you need to pass in this timestamp in a couple different places, so make sure to review the updated deployment instructions linked below.
Additional requirements
Since this upgrade allows Blast to make use of blobs, you're going to need access to an L1 Beacon API to read blob related data.
