BSQ maker fee proposal txid: 08ac84de80ac01b3be6ebbdc2ebf8e1cc25d63ac44a6bdb1eb5a88abbdc4c7f2 |
I was just reviewing this proposal, and was confused for a moment on how the fees could be so large, i.e. 89 BSQ for a taker fee. I realized a few minutes later that this is the fee per 1 BTC. The only place that's mentioned (so far as I can see is the wiki). It might be worth being more explicit about that in these proposals in the future, so that the uninitiated (or the forgetful, like me) don't get confused about it so easily. Proposals have been accepted, wiki has been updated to reflect the new values. |
@ripcurlx Can you update the filter with these new fee rates, per bisq-network/bisq#5826 |
Just applied the new values to the filter 👍 |
BSQ trading fees are calculated using the new values proposed at #365. Cycle 33Parameters (see issue)
In this cycle there is no need to update the BSQ trading fees. |
Closed as an update is required. |
This proposal keeps a record of the process to keep the BSQ trading fee at 50% discount to BTC trading fee. It will remain open until we need to update BSQ trading fees again.
Last update was #345
Cycle 32
Parameters (see issue)
It's necessary to update BSQ trading fee on Cycle 32.
New BSQ trading fees
A change parameter request for BSQ trading fees will be submitted to DAO voting:
New BSQ maker fee:
12.78
BSQ per BTC.New BSQ taker fee:
89.44
BSQ per BTC.There's no 15% cap to reduce BSQ trading fees; with this update, the discount target is 50% with a 15.6% reduction.
This would be the second time BSQ trading fees are reduced instead of increased.
