It would be very nice if we could install emperor using conda, that way installation would be as simple as:

conda install emperor

I am tagging this for 0.9.6, are there any takers? ... cough @Jorge-C 😄

@Jorge-C we don't have a set date yet, we will let you know in advance to see whether this can still be done or if we have to change it.

There's some progress towards this goal, see the discussion here, effectively you can do:

# EXCLUSIVELY FOR OSX
conda install -c https://conda.binstar.org/yoshiki emperor

# EXCLUSIVELY FOR LINUX GLIBC >= 2.12
conda install -c https://conda.binstar.org/jorge emperor

If we can get more testing done, @Jorge-C and I were thinking on posting these under the biocore account and submit the recipes to the official anaconda repositories.

This is now possible, at least for the beta4 version.

conda install -c biocore emperor

Moving forward we should only use this conda-forge repo:

This way we get all the builds automatically 👍
