Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
We have a number of legacy variant callers that are never used.

Describe the solution you'd like
Remove them until we have a use for them again.

  • varscan - legacy
  • platypus - legacy
  • gatk_hc_vcf - broken
  • freebayes - legacy
