Possibly a conflict between the version of FontConfig in Fedora 37

Does the AppImage statically link to libfontconfig anywhere? I mounted and poked around, but the only reference I could find was a dynamic link to the system library (which should be working fine ...)

I can confirm that. Flatpak version runs without any issue on Fedora 37.
