Motivation

When navigating on mobile, I want to see the page title above any content.

I want headings to be more prominent

Solution

Place page title block in content-top region.

Other considerations

  • What if someone already moved the page title block?

Related changes happening in #1406:

  • Removing sidebar nav title
  • Moving sidebar nav to sidebar second region

This one: "Change all headings to midnight color" will have to come from AZ Bootstrap, rather than QS.

Workshop notes 8/10/2020

Decisions (will revisit on Friday):

  • Move nav to sidebar second region
    • English hierarchy is top to bottom, left to right. So left sidebar puts too much emphasis on the sidebar nav
  • Remove sidebar nav block title
  • Move page title to content top region

This ticket is for moving the page title to the content top region only

Unfortunately, I see many issues with removing the availability of the sidebar left. Many sites already use the sidebar right (think Events and News) so we would be stacking more on that side. Also, see the following articles:

Revisit implementation

  • Add variable page title block to display just on mobile above sidebar content
  • Sidebar content would still appear above full width elements used for the page title
  • Find ticket about selecting full width element to put sidebar content attachment on (mobile stacking)
  • Explore putting sidebar region last on mobile (separate ticket)
