How do we make sure we are not provisioning multiple times for the same pod?
Reconciler will check every 10-15 seconds for pending pods and we might see the same pod again.

You're totally right -- we need a solution for that. I see that as an implementation detail of whatever passes pods into this function.

group.Pods = append(group.Pods, pod)
break
}
}

Not sure if you are planning to add more code here, but right now we never add anything to the group here.

Ah good point -- I threw this up in a hurry and mostly wanted to get the high level ideas out. Let's keep fleshing this out.

Shall we rename the file to greedyAllocator.go

It looks like either snake_case or concatcase is the most common: golang/go#36060. I'm partial to the single word file names. Wdyt about greedyallocator.go?

unschedulable := []*v1.Pod{}
for _, pod := range pods.Items {
for _, condition := range pod.Status.Conditions {
if condition.Type == v1.PodScheduled && condition.Reason == v1.PodReasonUnschedulable {

May be we can do this later, but wait for few seconds for a pod to be in pending state.
Let's add a comment for now.

I'm not sure what the difference is here. If the pod is unschedulable, it means the scheduler failed right? Is there a step I'm missing?

// Scheduler assigns incoming pods to existing nodes.
type Scheduler interface {
// Schedule a set of pods on existing nodes.
Schedule() ([]*v1.Pod, error)

Shouldn't this be taking a slice of pods as an argument?

Good call yeah. For now, this is a no-op since we're skipping scheduling. Happy to fix, or we can clean up next time someone touches it.
