- replace mantic support with oracular - add mtools pkg, remove UEFI_MOUNT_POINT_SKIP_FSTAB (thanks to the wdk2023 maintainer for the tip) - re-enable fprintd/limpam-fprintd pkg install across all releases (Trixie fixed it recently) - do no alsa-ucm-conf hacks for Trixie, as 1.2.12 landed there - cleanup commented out stuff from years ago - update .config (no changes except BTF enablement)

oracular troubles seems unrelated
First of all, thanks so much for putting these upgrades out! I really appreciate it! I just upgraded to this kernel on Trixie 24.11.0. I don't think this is a regression from a previous version, but just wanted to mention that hardware acceleration and the camera still don't seem to be working, despite jhovold's support matrix saying that they should, so long as everything is configured properly. https://github.com/jhovold/linux/wiki/x13s I'm afraid I'm not advanced enough to submit a merge request to fix it. I don't know how to fix this. Should I file an issue related to it, do you think? I did try upgrading to the newest firmware-linux versions, but it seems to be in conflict with armbian-firmware somehow, and it doesn't allow me to do it. |
Correction, perhaps I am wrong about hardware video acceleration. I tried testing it using jellyfin and youtube and videos wouldn't play on Firefox or Tor Browser. Neither one would play any videos. I then tried testing the audio using bandcamp and archive.org and audio files wouldn't play either. I then tried testing all of this out in the default installed Chromium, but the browser wouldn't open. I then downloaded video and audio files and Celluloid played them both perfectly. |
