Describe the bug

Currently Gitpod uses ruby 2.7.4.191
It looks like async bumped their io-event requirement recently, which breaks compatibility with Ruby 2.x:

Expected behavior

github-changelog-generator should be able to be installed on ruby 2.7.4.191
