v1.17 Release Schedule

This is a tentative schedule for the stabilization and rollout of v1.17. It is for informational purposes only and all dates are subject to change. Please wait for announcements on Discord before performing any upgrades or downgrades.

6	2023-11-06	Devnet: Upgrade to v1.17.

8	2023-11-20	US Thanksgiving. Tag Mainnet-beta Upgrade Candidate (MUC) on v1.17 branch.
9	2023-11-27	Testnet: Restart on v1.16 with v1.17 feature gates deactivated. Testnet: Upgrade to MUC (gradually: 10%, 25%, 100%)
10	2023-12-04	Testnet: Live downgrade to v1.16, upgrade to MUC (100%), feature gates re-enabled (all at once) Mainnet-beta: Ask for volunteers to take 10% of stake to to v1.17

17	2024-01-22	Branch v1.18 off master, tag v1.18.0, and ask testnet to upgrade to v1.18.0 once a supermajority of mainnet-beta stake has upgraded to v1.17
