Does the TSHAP command work?

Hello,
I am trying to contact TARGE170 and CONTA174.
At this time, the CONTA part is area, and the TARGE part is keypoint.
After modeling area and keypoint, I want to apply mapdl.tshap('sphe') to the nodes.
However, the following message is displayed and contact is not made.

The shape of the target element is invalid. The TSHAP command is ignored.

If you enter "TSHAP, SPHE" in APDL through mapdl.open_gui() before applying mapdl.tshap('sphe'), contact is performed.
Has anyone experienced something like this?
how can i solve it?

Yes, the 'tshap,shhe' command works...but the way you phrase the question catches my attention: "...I want to apply mapdl.tshap('sphe') to the nodes." That target shape uses only one node to define the target element. So I think we do need to see the script used to define the contact. Alternatively here is a small forming example that uses the target shape sphere. It's still solving on my system so I don't know if it will fully solve/converge. But it is definitely contacting and developing contact pressure etc now (about 19% done):
