How to deliver a pyDPF routine to a customer

Developing a DPF routine to extract data from an RST file and write it to a text file for use in the customers in house code. What is the best way to deliver this to the customer? Basically the only input is the path to the RST file. I would love for them not to have to copy paste and edit a script. Any thoughts on how this should be done.
