About The Project

CrimsonCommerce is an experimental ecommerce platform build using a functional programming approach and leveraging the power of Erlang/Elixir and the Phoenix framework.

Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple steps.

Prerequisites

This is an example of how to list things you need to use the software and how to install them.

mix archive.install hex phx_new 1.4.10
  • Node.js
npm install npm@latest -g

Installation

  1. Clone the repo
git clone https:://github.com/amacgregor/crimson_commerce.git
  1. Install Elixir dependencies packages
mix deps.get
  1. Create and Migrate the database with
mix ecto.setup
  1. Install the Node.js dependencies
cd apps/crimson_commerce_web/assets && npm install
  1. Start the application
mix phx.server
