[Feature request] Shelly 2.5/RGBW2 Exclude Each Channel Separately #219
Comments
The same is true and even more annoying for the RGBW2 especially in white mode which exposes 4 channel switches. If you are not using all 4 channels this leads to unused and irritating dead switches in HB and the Home App. So excluding channels individually would be a great improvement for the UX. |
@reh8388 may be you can change the title that RGBW2 devices are also involved in this. As this is related it could be without another feature request just for a different device. If you want to... |

This feature could also solve issue #116. |
An alternative solution is the current development of shelly-homekit. |
The Shelly 2.5 device has two switches that show in Homebridge and there is no way to change the "exclude" parameter for the individual channels. On my 2.5 I am using the second channel in detached mode and the output is not used so this device appears in HB and my Home app and there is no way to exclude it to prevent it from being shown without losing the first channel that I am using.
It would be nice to add the "channel" parameter which could allow for setting the "exclude" and "name" parameters for each channel of the Shelly 2.5 individually.
