ZgPHP meetups

This repository contains information about upcoming and past ZgPHP meetups. Use this repo to submit talks ideas, requests for hosting ZgPHP meetup and planning organization of meetups.

Quickstart

Get involved!

Host ZgPHP at your venue

We love to organize meetups at different venues, such as companies and coworking spaces. In the past, we had a lot of requests for hosting our meetups and we're happy to have your support. Since many of our supporters were interested to host our meetup, we introduced a small system of booking slots for hosting our meetups to ensure fairness and transparency. We don't want to put any company or organization before another, so we're allowing everyone to apply for hosting. Applications for hosting our meetups will be handled through pull requests in this repository.

Steps

  1. Read meetup-hosting-guidelines.md
  2. Take a look at available slots under the venues directory
  3. Create a pull request to submit your application for hosting a meetup

Creating a PR / applying for hosting

If you want to host ZgPHP meetup at your company, create a pull request with one markdown file targeting meetup directory that represents the meetup (i.e. the month) you're interested in talking at.

For example, If you want to host ZgPHP Meetup in July 2020. create a pull request with your-company-name.md file in venues/2020/07 directory with the following content:

My Company name wants to host ZgPHP in July 2020
Contact person: John Doe ([email protected])
Capacity: 50 persons

and we will reach out to arrange the details. Note that pull request created earlier have priority over others created later, so make sure to create PR as soon as you decide to host a meetup and book your slot.

We don't have strict rules and limits on hosting our meetups, the more the merrier, however, we'll be fair and allow everyone interested to host a meetup.

You can consider your request approved once we contact you and confirm everything.
