Description

A CONTRIBUTING.md file has been added to the repository. This will guide potential contributors towards making their first contribution to this repository.

Related Issue(s)

This file addition resolves issue #26.

User-facing Changes

Users can now follow the instructions in CONTRIBUTING.md to make their first contribution to the repository.

I found this article to be very useful and shows well how to contribute to open source projects - link. I feel your document is missing step 6 from this document.
