I previously had set things up such that when notes were input via midi controller as a pattern played live. These midi events could then be recorded at any obligatory length.
When I started qseq64 today (as packaged by kx.studio), midi note events from my hardware would only resolve as the note length specified by the pattern editor. This makes recording sequences live tough, as I dont have a free hand to switch the note length midway through a sequence.
Have I switched a setting somewhere?
