Q3 Sprint 5 Notes

Heard back from Chris Turner that they completed the migration for licensed facilities for both Health and Human Services. There is a google sheet available that updates regularly, and is accessible from the Licensing and Background Checks website.

Q4 Sprint 1 Notes

• Facilities have been geocoded and bad addresses returned to Health for review.
• Response from Chris at DHHS:

UGRC: The addresses for your facilities look really good. Attached are the only problems that I could find, I included a column at the end with the correct address

These are pulled from the licensing database. I'll have to double check this data :-) Thank you for providing it!

UGRC: I noticed that there are some facilities missing from your list like Salt Lake InstaCare, U of U Sugar House Urgent Care, Foothill Family Clinic etc. Do you know why these facilities aren't included?

1] Off the top of my head (I'll deep dive next week) this report looks at only licensed facilities.
There are also certified facilities in our world. Those are not licensed in Utah but we accept the certification by the Feds, a 3rd party org, etc.

2] A few facilities have child locations (aka branches or satellites depending on who you ask). The child locations are licensed to the parent (they do not have their own licenses). We typically do not put those locations on public information because, in the past, it has caused confusion and the contact information is almost always the parent.

I've written the queries to pull all the parents / children but it's not a part of what we have typically released as it generated more public confusion than clarity. We use this data internally for licensing renewal and so forth.
