Google Apps Freezing #764
Comments
I have not been able to duplicate this on either Vivaldi or Chrome proper. I wonder if Brave is doing something weird, or if there's another extension that might be interfering? |
I figured it out. My Reolink software updated at the same time. It changed
something to enable hardware decoding on the video and it was killing the
GPU performance. Deluminate needing the same resources was causing the lag.
I disabled the hardware decoding on Reolink and everything is working great
now.

I've come full circle. It's still happening even with the Reolink software
closed. If I turn Deluminate to normal on Gmail then the speediness of it
becomes normal. Is there a way I can set up some sort of debugging to
figure out what Deluminate is doing that is causing it to freeze up Gmail?
Some clicks take up to 3-4 seconds to show the result on screen when
Deluminate is set to any of the Invert settings. Dim seems to work fine.
I don't have any other extensions interacting with Gmail or the display.
Just a password manager and Zoom Chrome Extension.
Thanks,
Joey
