A pie chart is a circular graphical representation of data, divided into slices to show the proportion of each category or part in relation to the whole. Each slice represents a different category, and the size of each slice corresponds to the percentage or proportion of the total it represents. Pie charts are useful for providing a quick and visual way to understand the distribution of different components within a whole set of data.
