While working on the React 18 migration (#45235) I started getting console warnings about outdated
caniuse-lite
package:So I updated the package to the latest versions. There are snapshot updates for
dependency-extraction-webpack-plugin
(output file hashes) andreadable-js-assets-webpack-plugin
where the webpack runtime suddenly stops using arrow functions and downgrades the code to classic functions. It looks like there is a supported browser that doesn't support arrow functions? That's weird but I didn't investigate that.This PR is a copycat of #41675 which did a similar upgrade few months ago.
