This is no longer in active development. I will maintain compatibility with patches and fix major bugs, but I am not adding new features.

Character Options+

Adds character build options from the tabletop ruleset.

This mod creates a save dependency. Once you save with this mod enabled it must remain enabled or you will lose access to the save.

Installation

1. Download and install Unity Mod Manager (min v0.23)
2. Install ModFinder and use it to search for Character Options+
3. Click "Install"
   • If you don't have TabletopTweaks-Core and ModMenu already, install them using ModFinder

I also recommend installing TabletopTweaks-Base and TabletopTweaks-Reworks. They are not required but I developed the mod using them and there may bugs if you use it without them.

If you do not want to use ModFinder, download CharacterOptionsPlus.*.zip and install it using Unity Mod Manager. Make sure to install TabletopTweaks-Core and ModMenu as well.

Base Game Changes (Optional)

• Classes with Animal Companions get Share Spells
• Dreadful Carnage requires Furious Focus instead of Dazzling Display
• Implosion replaces the Tsunami bonus spell granted by the Destruction Domain
• Only a single Draconic Bloodline can be selected
• Only a single Elemental Bloodline can be selected
• The Winter Patron spell list more closely matches the tabletop version

Bug Fixes

• Heavenly Fire can be used 3 + Charisma Modifier times per day instead of just 3
• Lord Beyond the Grave buff can bet set to permanent, preventing lag / encumberance issues while walking around
• Serpent's Fang poison DC is calculated correctly
• Serpent Friend grants +3 to Perception instead of +2, matching the feature description
• Evasion can be selected as a Slayer's Advanced Talent

Reporting Problems

First, go to Settings > Mods > Character Options+ and turn on "Enable Detailed Logs"

Follow this guide: So you want to report a WotR mod bug? Ideally include a save file.

1. Use ModFinder to install Mewsifer Console and Mewsifer Console Menu
2. Reproduce the issue in-game
3. Open Settings > Mods > Mewsifer Console and select "Mod Bug Report"

4. File an issue on GitHub and attach the generated bug report
5. Include your save file in the bug report
   • Saves are stored in %UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous\Saved Games

Known Issues

• Some buffs do not work with BubbleBuffs
  • Also AoE indicators are not enabled in BubbleTweaks by default
• Winter Witch's Frozen Caress hex does not apply DC increases from things like Elemental Focus; this will probably never be fixed. It does apply the bonus from Winter Witch's Ice Magic.

Mod Options

This mod uses Mod Menu, settings are in the game settings: Settings > Mods > Character Options+. They are not available in UMM.

All settings changes require a restart to take effect.

You can use options to disable any feature added. This will:

• Prevent the feature from being selectable
• Remove any effect from the feature
• Remove any changes to existing mechanics

This will not:

• Remove the feature from characters (but it will not work)
• Grant a replacement feature for characters who have it
