NBAP - v1.1

NBAP v1.1 release notes:

NetBackup Ansible Automation Platform (NBAP) release v1.1 supported for RedHat/SuSE (Media) and Windows (Client) platform.

This release extends support of below deployment requirements

1. New Install (version 10.x onwards)
2. Upgrade install (to and from NB version 10.x)
3. Remove NB Software (10.x)
4. Independent Certificate Deployment (NBCA & ECA)
5. Staging NetBackup Packages locally (currently supported only for RedHat)

Pre-requisite

• It requires the Ansible core version 2.11 onwards.
• Operating system compatibility should be RedHat 7/8/9, SuSE 12 & 15 and Windows 6.2 onwards.

Few Updates:

1. Disk space checks
2. Version compatibility check against primary server
3. NetBackup package validation during pre/post installation
4. External certificate (ECA) deployment
5. Primary server connectivity check during pre/post installation
6. Enhanced EEB management
7. Support for subsequent overlap EEBs
8. Upgrade support for EEB

Deployment Support for NetBackup Client RedHat (v1.0)

This release contains NBAP v1.0 that supports below use cases for NetBackup Client on RedHat platform.

1. New Install (NB Client version 10.x onwards)
2. Upgrade install (to and from NB version 10.x)
3. Remove NB Client (10.x)
4. Independent Certificate Deployment
