What is Monero Tipbot?

Monero Tipbot is an cross platform open-source bot which can manage Monero (and other Monero like currencies) using Discord. Discord users can send and receive currency to and from Discord users as well as other wallets on the network. All transactions including to other Discord users are done on the chain and all Discord users have their own segregated wallets running on their own RPC. There is currently 4 core extensions other than the tipping functionality those extensions include a lottery, faucet, project crowd funding, and users being rewarded for chatting. Monero Tipbot is highly extendable and has a scripting engine that's language is Chaiscript.

Who uses Monero Tipbot

Monero Tipbot was originally developed for Intense Coin, now known as Lethean (https://www.lethean.io/), to help with community engagement but has since been adopted by Masari (https://getmasari.org/).

For questions or support requests please don't make a issue but use the Discord (https://discord.gg/rpTU2T) also there is a working Tipbot in that Discord if you want to try it out first.

I'd suggest you use the develop branch until 3.0 is released as that's the most recent as I'm waiting for issues with a third party library to be fixed before publishing 3.0 but its essentially done.

There will be further documentation soon including of the scripting language.
