Comment notifications depend on email

There is one thing that worries me a bit. I receive notifications via email, but not as a private message on the website. Sometimes I don't see new emails immediately. This is a little bit of a problem for me.

Personally, when I noticed that this user wasn't reacting to comments posted on their sentences but still adding new ones several days later, I wrote a private message, because I knew there would be a visible indicator on the website (the red mail icon). They replied swiftly to that.

I think a solution to this problem would be a page grouping (my comments) + (comments on my sentences) + (replies to comments), combined with an indicator in the header if there have been new comments since that page was last checked.
