Important! If you are migrating from version 5.x.x.x, open application folder and run alienfx-conv
to convert registry configuration. In case you don't do so, you lost your color and effect settings (forever), as well as haptics and ambient settings (until converted).
Changes into this release:
All light-control apps:
- Hardware per-key effects support added for APIv9 (AW410k/510k keyboards):
- There are 5 effect modes supported - color, pulse, morph, breath, spectrum (last one absent into AWCC, but works).
- Only 2 colors available for every mode, more colors will be ignored (hardware limitation).
- Only "Speed" slider supported, "Length" one do nothing (hardware limitation).
- Global (all-keyboard) effects not supported yet.
AlienFX-GUI
:
- "Light names on grid" functionality re-worked:
- Setting moved from "Devices" tab to "Settings" tab.
- Setting now apply to all grids, not only for "Device" tab one.
- Setting now stored between sessions.
- Grid mappings for 410k/510k updated to better reflect real key positions.
