Telemetry and nagware Tasks

Teleme7ry will delete the following telemetry-related tasks:

Application Experience (AitAgent, Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser and ProgramDataUpdater)

This service checks a Microsoft maintained database for known problems with popular programs and automatically enables workarounds, either at first installation (using UAC) or at application launch.

Older "non-Vista or Windows 7 compatible" programs may need this service running. Turning off this feature may increase over all application responsiveness at launch time (due to avoiding the database look up), however, it will not fix application installation issues.

Autochk\Proxy, Customer Experience Improvement Program (Consolidator, KernelCeipTask and UsbCeip), DiskDiagnostic

The Customer Experience Improvement Program (CEIP) secretly collects and submits system information to Microsoft. The information collected includes hardware configuration and how you use the operating system and other products.

Family Safety will also send out daily and weekly reports to the parents that contain detailed information about a particular child's activity on the computer. You can also view these reports and change restrictions on a particular child's account via the https://familysafety.microsoft.com/ web site.

EOSNotify

Microsoft integrated a new version of the End of Service notifier executable in the December 2019 Monthly Rollup for Windows 7. EOSnotify.exe, which is located under "%windir%\system32" is used to display the full screen popup on Windows 7 devices when support ends.

The executable file is run via the scheduled tasks EOSNotify and EOSNotify2 which administrators find under Microsoft > Winodws > Setup in the operating system's Task Scheduler. The first task launches the full screen message when a user logs into the operating system, the second daily at 12 PM.
