I have to say I am absolutely impressed with all they people working to make living with diabetes even as little easier.
My wife was diagnosed Nov 2014, she just got her Vibe pump with built in G4, no share, we don't have that in Canada. I have to use xDrip Wireless bridge add the receiver did not come with it ($700 to buy). My question is this, will I be able to check her bg if I have set up installed on my phone? Do I have to set up Night Scout in order to view the cgm on pebble watch? I have been searching all over and I haven't found the answers yet. This is what I am hoping to have accomplished after building the bridge:
Wife can check her bg on phone or pebble
I can check her bg on my phone or my pebble

Is the bridge the only thing I need paired with the app?

Thanks for your help in advance.

I am very sorry, I didn't realize how much my phone corrected words incorrectly...I can't figure out how to edit my post.

Hey!

No worries, so the bridge would let your wife see her own numbers.

Then it can upload to either a nightscout site or the dexcom share servers,
then you can follow it on your own phone with nightscout or the nightwatch
app.

The pebble cgm in the cloud watch face would require a nightscout site
(last I checked) and there are other watch faces you could use to work with
xdrip directly.

Plenty of options, most should be able to work with one another, usually
nightscout is the center of it as its where the data is most often stored!

We don't have Dexcom share in Canada yet, so I assume that we couldn't use them. I was hoping honestly I could bypass the setting up a night scout server. But at least she could use her watch instead of pulling her pump out to check cgm.

Thanks for replying so quick. I will hopefully have all my parts in the next couple weeks, shipping from China can be slow, it's the only place I have found the bt module.

You don't need an actual dexcom share, just an account with dexcom (and it
will upload to their share servers)

They aren't as nice and feature filled. But you can send data up with xdrip
and get it back with nightwatch just fine if that's your only goal! A bit
more delay on the nightwatch side, but it works!

I don't remember if any dexcom account works or if it has to be made while
on a VPN to connection to a US ip address. Sorry!
