This was removed by @Zidane from SpongeAPI in SpongePowered/SpongeAPI/ab93ab2c84eebc426fc8f58ffee272858d3aee59, it was seemingly forgotten and the implementation never reached common. This resolves [1] a RuntimeException when the Factory can not be retrieved, such as when an Enderman teleports [2]. These issues have likely been unearthed very recently as the API mixins have been enabled.
