- Refer to Installation and Load Once on guide on how to install and uninstall.
- For help with the main menu accessible from the main window (control window), refer to Interface: Main Menu.
- If you closed the control window, find a gear icon at the notification icons area in your task bar's rightmost side.
- Closed main window and don't know how to bring it back? Check out your task bar's notification area, aka "tray icons". There should be a cog icon. Double click on it, or right click on it to bring up the control window.
This was called "High Latency Mitigation" before 1.14.8.46.
- If the game has just updated, and high latency mitigation does not work, find opcodes.
- This feature will break whenever ACT FFXIV Plugin breaks, but you can replace opcodes by yourself and it will probably work.
- Open the control window, pick
Configure
>Edit Opcode Configuration
to apply the found opcodes.
- Try Framerate Locking for more true-to-the-face-value cooldowns.
- For modding, refer to Modding.
- To change how texts are displayed, refer to EXDF Transformation Rules.
- To customize game fonts, refer to Set up font replacement.
- To listen to the musics in higher quality when you're playing the game, refer to Upgrade Music Quality.

As it uses DLL injection, your anti-virus software might flag this add-on.
You might have to add both
XivAlexander32/64.dll
andXivAlexanderLoader32/64.exe
to exclusion list. Refer to your anti-virus software manual for instructions. - If you use FFXIVQuickLauncher and don't want to install XivAlexander but still want it to launch automatically, open XIVLauncher configuration, navigate to
Auto-Launch
tab, click onAdd new
button, findXivAlexanderLoader64.exe
, and set-a load
as Command line parameters. You do not have to check any of the 3 checkboxes on that page - just press OK.
