Nice! I wonder if we want to implement consistent rules for setting defaults in the API as well as the interactive demo. For example, if a user specifies segment length and step size, but no other parameters, we may want to update PE count and spread to ensure best possible returns. I can see arguments for and against this behavior. My guess is most users would prefer the "auto" setting, and advanced users can set all parameters they would like to constrain. https://slideruleearth.io/web/rtd/user_guide/ICESat-2.html#parameter-reference-table |
