AutoGPT is the vision of accessible AI for everyone, to use and to build on. Our mission is to provide the tools, so that you can focus on what matters.
Although: AutoGPT is best known as the first application built to implement that vision: a generalist AI agent system that breaks down and executes computer-based tasks for you. Consider it a digital apprentice of which you can hire as many as you want. Over time, this apprentice will become more capable: AutoGPT is constantly evolving, as we continuously improve its functionality and architecture with the future in mind.
We have also abstracted most of the library code that powers AutoGPT into the Forge SDK, a toolkit for anyone who wants to build LLM-based AI systems, agentic or not.
