Temporary fix for kubernetes OpenAPISchema Issue

Possible issue in kubernetes for OpenAPISchema with values containing the keyword "items":

Temporary fix for

• DownwardAPI fails validation in CRD #926
• Validation fails if componentSpecs.metadata.creationTimestamp is not specified #1061
