Use PyBossa for Internationalizing Strings from a .yml

Hi,

I'm on the team developing OpenFarm, a Ruby on Rails application. We're looking for a way for our community to translate our site's strings into other languages. We have an en.yml file here that contains everything we need to translate at the moment, and you can imagine that this file will continually be updated with new and modified strings as we continue development.

Ideally a script would output a properly formatted .yml file in the new language, such as es.yml. It would also be best if we could continually update the base (english) file and have the new strings importedw into the PyBossa project.

Ps, we're not looking to host our own instance of PyBossa fo this, but would like to use the CrowdCrafting platform.

We'll support YML files for translating RoR apps. I'll take a look at your file, and then implement it.

Hi Daniel,

No problem :) We don't have a deadline, though we may use a google spreadsheet to get some translations done sooner rather than later. Getting it up on Crowdcrafting by the end of the month would be fantastic though. We can then send out an email to our users (a little over 2,000 people) to help us!

Do you think that is possible?
