Help
This page should answer most common questions. For modpack related advice, please go to the Modpack Tips page.
If Modpack Update Checker has prevented you from launching your world, you can modify the world's level.dat
file through Visual Studio Code with the NBT Viewer extension by Misode installed or through NBTExplorer.
The process of installing VSCode and the NBT Viewer extension should be fairly straightforward. As for NBTExplorer, you have to look for Releases and then download the artifact that has the .msi
file extension and then run NBTExplorer from there.
After opening the world's world.dat
file, locate modpackInfo as you scroll down the data list after expanding it. Click the remove button in VSCode then just Ctrl + S to save your modifications.
Here are the folder paths. Subsitute .minecraft
with the modpack's Instance name. If you are using the CurseForge app, it should be curseforge/minecraft/Instances/Finality Genesis
.

Here are a few possibilities that can be happening:
- You added one or more of the mods in the mod blacklist, please remove all of them. I will not address bug reports or crashes related to:
- MCreator mods
- Oculus
- and other mods in the blacklist.
- The modpack did not install properly for some reason.
- I made sure that the modpack installs correctly through the CurseForge app before releasing an update, so you can't really blame it on me.
