System Information (OS, Hardware, etc.)

Windows

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a usdc file in usdview
  2. Try to write to that file from another process
  3. Crash

I wouldn't be surprised if the reader process crashed, but it's the writer that crashes.

Seems like an exclusive file locking issue, but it's hard to say since all Tf diagnostics turn into crashes without displaying the associated message.
