Make it possibly to register SiteTypes which are similar to Page & Post Types. A Site Type should be selected on the site and the data will be accessible from the sitemap via a button. The site model can then be used in the Layout to render global information like Header & Footer info.

Could you please provide example or update the wiki?
I can handle to make the dropdown visible ... easy ... but i have no idea why there is no way to add the content.
